Dermal Fillers are quick, simple, safe, and effective treatments. They are injected under the skin at the site of sunken areas, creases, or scars to fill lines and restore lost volume, thus enhancing your facial contours for natural-looking long lasting results.  These treatments will enhance your appearance immediately without any down time.

The crease between the eyebrows, or the furrow formed at the corner of your mouth might be deep. You might have a small crease between the corner of your mouth and chin, (the jowls) which may give an angry or unhappy look.  Crow’s feet (squint lines) or vertical lines between the eyebrows (frown lines) are not always completely resolved with Botox® alone.  Fillers may be needed as a supplement to Botox® Cosmetic in these situations.

Fillers are effective in “inflating” a depressed or wrinkled area.  They are called “volume enhancers”and generally last 9 – 12 months. The results may also be enhanced by combining this treatment to photo rejuvenation treatments, Botox® Cosmetic, chemical peels and facial treatments combined with a simple daily routine of home care and the use of high quality skin care products.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do fillers work?

Fillers are hyaluronic acid gels that are injected under the skin using a fine, sterile needle or cannula. It is placed in a position in the skin determined by factors such as the location and depth of a wrinkle or fold. This results in immediate lifting of wrinkles. It can also be used to add volume to the cheeks and lips.

What kinds of wrinkles can be treated?

Commonly treated sites include the nasolabial folds (from the edge of the nose to the angle of the mouth), the wrinkles around the lips and the forehead, deep hollows under the eyes, but other sites can also be treated. Dermal fillers can also be used to increase volume in cheeks, lips, and temples.

Can i receive dermal fillers if i'm also receiving other procedures or injections?

Absolutely! Many different treatments are often used at the same time with dermal fillers or other cosmetic procedures for an all-over smoothing of wrinkles and facial lines and restoring of lost volume. For example, Botox ® treatments may be used on forehead wrinkles, while dermal fillers may be better used to treat lines at the mouth area. Be sure to ask us about Soft Lift™.

How long do the fillers last?

Follow-up treatments are usually required to maintain the effect. For instance, collagen fillers can last three to 12 months, hyaluronic acid fillers typically last up to 12 months, and semi-permanent fillers can last up to two years. Your physician injector will discuss what your treatment goals are, and work with you to achieve a natural and beautiful result.

How quickly will I see results?

Visible results from the injections are immediate! Often times, your physician injector will inject one half of your face first, to allow you to compare the results against the other before starting the other side. This lets the two of you work together to achieve desired results.
